For the past 8 years, I've refined my technique and musicianship including learning new instruments such as the saxophone, piano, drums, harmonica, bass, banjo and now the pedal steel guitar. I love to perform so why not make it a business! I had the great opportunity to open my own company and have support with my printing, website and updating and adding to my musical equipment.
I'm also a member of OMCI that has been providing me with a lot training on workshops to help me get my music career where I want it as well as more performances in Barrie and Innisfil than ever before.
I had an amazing first year at Laurier University in the Community Music program and am now in my second year. I met some amazing musicians that I have been working with and have been applying what I've learned at school into my craft. I am excited to continue in this course.
Learning more about music, performing, composing original songs, recording in my own studio, and learning new cover songs to add to my set list.
I'd like to share with you my most recent accomplishments.
I am a 19 year old youth multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter that loves to be on stage. I've been performing in the the Simcoe County and York Region area for 8 years now on various stages, special events and shows. I have had the great pleasure to meet many popular bands that are my mentors like The Trews, Big Sugar, Northern Pikes, and Glorious Sons and the Arkells.
I have been very lucky to have the support of my family while being able to perform in many venues throughout the years. As well as being very involved in Band and music in my school.
My community matters to me.
My love for music is as strong as my love for my community, therefore giving back is very important to me. I have charity work I do throughout the year as well as share my music to special events, my volunteer hours to some of my favourite events as well as teach children younger than myself the wonderful world of music.
